Highlight your water resources-related research and work by submitting an abstract for the poster competition. Posters will be on exhibit in conference meeting rooms during the Thursday sessions and Thursday evening social. Student posters will be eligible for cash prizes of $400 for first, $300 for second and $200 for third place.

All posters entered into the competition must have an abstract submitted. Abstracts must be submitted via the conference web page at http://auei.auburn.edu/conference no later than July 1, 2008 for non-student submissions. Abstracts submitted by students must be received by August 17, 2008.

• The poster should be no larger than 4 by 6 feet.
• Poster set up will be anytime Wednesday, and Thursday morning prior to 8:00 am. Posters may be delivered to the conference registration table.
• These product types are acceptable for poster presentations: foam board, poster board, or mat board. A "backboard" is not required. If you do not use foam board, laminating the poster is highly recommended.
• A loop/hook (Velcro type) material will be applied for hanging by conference staff.
• The main constraint of the poster is that it is readable from about 3 feet away. Consider using short lists rather than long paragraphs. Use of larger fonts is recommended.
• Judging will occur Thursday afternoon and during the evening social hour. The author or co-author should be available to discuss poster Thursday afternoon-evening during the social time, from about 5:00 - 6:30 pm.
• Winners will be announced at the Friday morning break.
• All posters should be removed any time after the social Thursday evening and no later than Noon on Friday.
• For students to be eligible for prize awards, please include your name, college or university, phone number and email address.
