What makes bird a bird? What do feathers do for birds? Why do many male birds look different from female birds? Module leader V. Smith discussed some interesting bird facts with students. She also talked about some common birds in our backyard. Students examined preserved bird skulls, eggs, wings, feet, and beaks etc. to better understand the concepts presented.
