Natural Gas Vehicles Workshop

August 1st, 2008

Please register to attend a FREE Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) workshop to be held at the Civic Center in Thomasville, Alabama on August 20th.

Learn how CNG can be used in your fleet as a reliable and economical transportation fuel. If you are fuming over the high cost of your current fuel you owe it to yourself to spend the morning in Thomasville as a guest of the Clarke-Mobile Counties Gas District to learn from the pros about compressed natural gas as a transportation fuel.

Listen and learn all about CNG from the “basics” through the Federal Incentives available for CNG. The speakers will be: Stephe Yborra- Director of Market Analysis, Education & Communications at the NGVAmerica/Clean Vehicle Education Foundation: Steve Bouchillon – Director of Operations for Phoenix Energy Corporation: and, Mark Bentley – Executive Director, Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition.

The objective of the workshop is to provide you with an overview of CNG so that you will have the information needed to make informed decisions in your organization.

SAVE THE DATE: Southeast Stormwater Institute

July 14th, 2008

October 14-16, 2008, Savannah, GA The Southeast Stormwater Institute at the Coastal Georgia Center is an intensive, interactive three-day learning experience specifically designed to help public and private sector stormwater professionals develop or improve municipal stormwater programs, particularly NPDES Phase II permit programs; strengthen stormwater design, construction, and maintenance skills for innovative practices in coastal and non-coastal settings; and understand and apply volume reduction criteria, green infrastructure credits, and the new Georgia Coastal Stormwater Supplement.

Wetlands 2008: Wetlands and Global Climate Change

September 15-19, 2008, Portland, OR. The overall goal of this conference is to help wetland professionals in the public and private sectors 1) gain a better understanding of the challenges created by climate change and 2) identify discrete activities and actions to take to reduce and mitigate impacts on wetlands and water resources as well as communities. The conference will also address ongoing changes and challenges in wetlands and water resources management.

FLOW 2008: Interdisciplinary Solutions to Instream Flow Problems
